My experiences with Mr Maguire over these last months have left me more and more shaken and battered, and today I was forced to file a complaint with an attorney who deals with ADA (American’s with Disabilities Act) violations. Mr Maguire’s actions toward me, witnessed by my partner, other patients and strangers, have been clearly discriminatory on the basis of my disability and he has used the fact that I use a service dog to help mitigate my disabilities and enable me to function in the world as a reason for those actions. He has even gone so far as to mock my disabilities and tell me that they don’t exist and set me apart form other people in the office, making me feel like a pariah and worthless; (I cry a lot). If you are seeking a provider who will be compassionate, empathetic and be considerate of your needs and limitations, seek someone else. On that note, the other provider in the same building, Robin Pflieger of Core Connections, Physical Therapy does the same methods tho with more education, and she will not make you feel like crying every time you see her.
