Many have asked how I came up with the idea of V’s. The answer lies in my fond memories of going to the classic barber shops for a hair cut with my dad while growing up in Tucson. I keenly remember the sights and smells of Nick’s Barbershop and the real experience of being a boy among men. It was a place that we could go together and do more than get a hair cut. It was a place that made lasting memories. My son was born in 1994 and I went looking for a barber shop that would let me make memories with him. I did not find the local barber shop that I was looking for in Phoenix, or anywhere else, so I decided to open one. We recently moved to the area and have had such a hard time finding a good quality barber. Tonight, Mary cut my son’s hair and I am very impressed! I’m extremely particular with his hair, and she went above and beyond. Mary took her time and cut his hair exactly how I like it. After she was finished she put a warm towel on his head and gave him a quick little massage. He felt like a king! I think we have finally found our new barber.

Very pleased with the haircut I got at this place. The service was great. They offer complementary water and beer and offer free neck shaving. Booked my appointment the day before and walked in early and was able to get right to the cut. My barber was Marvin. He did an amazing job with the haircut and did exactly what I had in mind. Chloe made my son’s first trip to the Barbershop quick and easy. Turned out great and he left happy with a ring pop from another Barber. When I paid the young man was super nice but didn’t seem too knowledgeable about the products for sale. It was ok though, what I was looking at smelled great. All in all it was a great experience and I did buy some beard wash as a stocking stuffer for my husband!
