I’m in town for a conference at the convention center and set up a last minute interview for a job on day 3 of the conference. I was looking pretty shaggy day 1 at the conference center. I went to the mall to pick up some things that I needed in the hotel, and I saw the shop and decided to stop in for a cut and a beard trim due to the convenience of their location. Nate “The Great” gave me recommendations for a style and the best haircut that I’ve had in years followed by a great beard trim to boot. Had a great conversation during the process. The rest of the staff were super helpful and professional. I highly recommend this shop.

The shop is clean and welcoming! My son is 1 year old and Franco did an amazing job making him feel comfortable. He explained every step to me and vocalized everything to my son. He was gentle, patient, and genuinely cared about giving a great experience. The haircut turned out great and over all the experience here was top tier. I LOVE this place. They really took the time to get me to a point where I feel confident going to the barber again. I had some bad experiences elsewhere that lead to me lack trust in barbers. Anthony is GREAT and I feel confident getting my hair groomed again! He really made sure that we were doing my hair exactly how I imagine it in my head. Would recommend to anyone!

Cannot remember the name of the man the did my haircut but he was really great. He not only cut my hair exactly like I wanted it, but he gave me styling tips also was very personable….he maintained a steady entertaining conversation with me the whole time, really made me feel comfortable about being there. Anytime I’m going to San Antonio I’ll be scheduling a hair cut here. If your looking for great barbers that are also good ppl you def will find it here, word to the wise though….schedule your appointment over the phone prior to going up there, they stay pretty busy so appointments are necessary but worth it.

Absolutely the best experience I’ve ever had while receiving a haircut. Nate did an amazing job at keeping me calm. I was extremely nervous and have been going to the same barber for over six years and after the experience and hospitality I have received at Urban City Barbershop it will be my new location. I’ve been going to Franco for months now, and I’ll keep coming back. The whole staff is professional. The shop is in pristine condition (Mario makes sure to keep it that way), and they always offer me a cold bottle of water for free, which is good especially on days that I walk in. Franco always does the exact cut I ask him to and he’s super personable and can talk about anything, which makes the cut go by fast. Prices are way lower than what they could be, and I feel like I get a steal by coming here. I highly recommend.

Martin is such a professional! Not only does he do a phenomenal job on my haircut and beard he is friendly, great story teller , fast and efficient! As long as I live in San Antonio Martin will be the only barber to tune me up. Also your front staff her name is Copper was welcoming and did a great job with the sales flow of customers coming in and answering calls.
