Metro Detroits Premiere wedding and special event hair salon. We are hair color experts. We perform over 1,000 color services each month. We are the only Metro Detroit hair salon that provides both in salon and location services with out mobile hair and makeup studios. We also handle nail and waxing services. Our facility has ventilated nail tables that expel dust and chemical fumes that are found in many salons. We are one of just a handful of salons that sterilize all nail instruments in a FDA listed Autoclave.

My first ever professional salon experience was here at Studio9 Salon. I was paired with Kaja, who was great to work with. She was relatable, kind, very professional and very polite. I showed her one or two photos of what I was looking for, and described briefly the kind of cut I wanted. She knew exactly what to do and wow did she DO IT. She made my hair look exactly (and to be honest, even better) than the photos I showed her. I never thought I would have hair that looks this amazing, and here I am, feeling a total confidence boost! Prices were very fair. Salon is inviting, clean and bright. I love love love my new hair and will return for any future services I may need. Thank you guys for a great first experience. For my wedding on 9-30-22, we used the smaller mobile salon which was awesome! They had 3 chairs going at once and completed the hair and makeup of 9 people within 5 hours. The bus was such a fun experience and it was so relaxing being able to get ready right at my wedding venue. Our hair and makeup turned out beautiful as well!

My sister had a bridal hair and makeup consultation with them for her upcoming wedding in October and everyone here was so nice and efficient. Her makeup artist and hair stylist (Nikki and Kellsea) were excellent. My sister was so pleased that she decided to go ahead and book them for her wedding. As an added plus they are only about a mile away from the wedding venue so it is a great fit. Definitely recommend checking them out.

Absolutely wonderful. Catered to all my needs and were very friendly and accepting. They were open to something new. Helped me get ready for a soft and frilly fairy themed birthday party my friends hosted for me. All the services were heavenly and the end result was divine. My nail tech (Holly) was easy to talk to and my makeup artist (Kaylee) was very friendly and grateful for a makeup idea that was new and fun.

AMANDA IS A HAIR MASTER! If I could give 100 stars and my first born child as a rating, I would. She went above and beyond, and I am so happy with the results of her hard work and hair wizardry!!!! I went in with THEE MOST botched color removal (done by myself of course).”50 shades of blonde” is the best way she described it. SHE THREW DOWN AND TOTALLY RESTORED MY HAIR BACK TO MY NATURAL COLOR, ALL FROM A PICTURE!!!! She made the impossible seem possible! Not only is it a fabulous color and the exact one I had hoped for, my hair still feels so healthy after everything its been through! Amanda was patient, understanding, well educated, kind, funny, and everything else that makes a wonderful hair stylist! It was fairly priced for the amount of work that went into my hair! I also was offered refreshments during my appointment which was nice! I was so hopeless before coming in, on the brink of opting for a buzzcut and some fun wigs. Amanda made me feel beautiful again, and I will never forget my experience at Salon 9 I LOVE YOU AMANDA

I have a wedding coming up and have the large salon bus rented. Went in for my hair and makeup trial and was so happy with Alice with my hair, then Sam who did my makeup. I haven’t had my hair done in a very long time, (styled) and have never had my makeup done. They were the sweetest and made me feel very comfortable. Sam even gave me the lip gloss/ plumper to take with me to use for my bridal shower, it was low and she had more coming in. The owner (maybe) /boss came by and offered water and I also got coffee! Which was much needed. Thank you for making me feel like a princess, makes me feel so much more happy and confident for my big day!

Myself and my wedding party sure enjoyed and appreciated our services at Studio 9 Salon! The salon generously provided us with snacks during our manicures and mimosas and pastries before and after hair/make-up services. They also gave us shimmering reusable bags and a full-size setting spray for the day of the wedding. The stylists provided great services, were very talented, and were very personable. They also were very accommodating to my friend with cerebral palsy when having her nails and hair done. I loved that the whole bridal party could have our hair and make-up done at the same time! This helped with the flow of the day. They made my wedding day feel so special! Thank you, Studio 9!

I enjoyed working with Kaja, she has an amazing personality. She made me feel comfortable from the start and understood exactly what I was looking for in wedding hair and makeup. I can’t wait to work with her on my wedding day! The only reason for giving a 4 instead of 5 was when I made my appointment, I was not told that if I wanted extensions, I would need to provide them. I have never used extensions before so I was unaware of this. Kaja gave me some great information on which ones to go with and which ones to stay away from. Thank you Kaja; I can’t wait for you to meet my ladies!

I never write reviews, but I had to after my experience this past weekend. We booked Studio 9 for their hair and makeup services for our wedding using their mobile salon. Just stop looking and book them. They were phenomenal. I am an Indian bride and was concerned about being able to get the look I wanted, and they tirelessly worked with me to make our vision come to life. The stylists were kind, professional, and it was clear that they knew what they were doing. They helped us stay on schedule, leaving time for any mishaps that pop up during weddings. Their salon bus was clean and brand new, making it a fun experience for our guests. Highly recommend them!!

Today was my first appointment with the salon. They were able to get me in last minute for fixing my hair color from another salon. I saw Nikki and she was so great! She fixed my color by adding highlights. She was so friendly and I will definitely be back to see her. I was sad I didn’t have more cash on hand to tip her more!
