Positive: QualityI’ve been going to Lavish for a very long time and they have always left me extremely satisfied. Especially with Ivy! Ivy is super talented and does amazing nail art, structure of the nail, and she’s always looking out by giving recommendations on how to achieve the best nail set. Not only that, but she is super kind and fun to talk to! I’ve been going to Lavish for a very long time and they have always left me extremely satisfied. Especially with Ivy! Ivy is super talented and does amazing nail art, structure of the nail, and she’s always looking out by giving recommendations on how to achieve the best nail set. Not only that, but she is super kind and fun to talk to! If you are coming here for the first time, or looking into getting a new tech, go to Ivy!!

Critical: Quality, Value1) $54 for a basic acrylic fill is ridiculous. 2) $54 for a poorly done basic fill is infuriating. She shellacked that powder on my nails so thick!! I was thinking maybe it was just the way she did it, and that she would go back with the nail tool and thin it out all over; nope! She was sloppy and got it on my cuticles and fingertip (see pictures) so that’ll be flaking off for a day or two. At the end she used a small piece to clean under my fingernails, and made me bleed at one point. She didn’t apologize -she had the audacity to ask if I hit my nail on something! Lady, you’ve been holding my hands for the last hour, YOU made me bleed. She was nice otherwise and I actually wasn’t super annoyed til I went to pay and she said it was $58. Rude technician, Kelly got upset with me for expressing my concerns regarding her job, I asked to please cover all the gaps with acrylic powder as she kept missing spots, she got upset raised her voice, got up from her chair “this is how we do things here” and started speaking her native language to a nail tech. I politely requested a different tech to take over, entire situation was very uncomfortable, as a customer I feel like I am within my rights to express my concerns and have them remedied. There was absolutely no need to behave this way.

Nail tech has a runny nose and keeps on rubbing her nose while working on my nails. Also, she did not clean the under nail area. When the dip was already dried, i noticed there are some lint embedded on my nails. This is so frustrating.

I asked her for a diamond gel polish she suggested powder i asked her how much it cost she didnt know. i go up to pay and he has the nerve to tell me $95 now had i known i would have never got this done. I dont even like it. Does this look like $95 dollar nail job to you. Definitely wont be back.

I wanted a black French tip manicure gel extension, but they don’t know what gel extensions are here the guy tried putting ugly curved nail tips on me before I got up and left. They don’t know nail shapes either I wanted square and the dude tried putting coffin on me. Gel manicures

A year ago, I moved here from Northern VA, and if I could bring down some of the nail salons from there I would! Always had friendly girls and top notch service, prices basically the same too. I have been to Lavish Nails a few times for both manicure and pedicure. Monday, I had a gel manicure, and the technician I had was rude, not at all friendly, she didn’t like the fact that I had asked questions about the polish, and the nail filing, etc. she wore a mask, and had a heavy accent, this was a problem for me understanding what she was saying! I felt like I didn’t even want to tip her, but I did. I like to feel good when a leave a nail salon, but honestly, I felt awful. I wished I asked what her name was. If I go back, which I doubt, I will recognize her, even with a mask on, long dark hair, probably in her fifties, no eye expression. If she doesn’t like her job,or being with people , then do something else !!! I realize we all have problems, but don’t bring them to your job! Lavish needs to have a chat with their employees, and how to treat customers. They aren’t the only nail salon in town!

She cut me 3 times with the electric nail drill and it burns so bad! Secondly, when laying the acrylic powder with the monomer she had to repeatedly do every nail several times. It was literally glooping off the ends and sides of my nails! I also have glue all my nails and skin. She also didn’t put the acrylic powder far enough so it looks like I’ve had my nails on for a whole week! Lastly, she preceded to file the sides of my nails again after they were polished and put in the UV light. So the sides of my nails have scuff marks!
