We reconcepted the art of mens barbering in 2011, which means we are always imitated, but never duplicated. Come see for yourself. Open Tuesday-Saturdays starting 2023. Cozy place. Stuff to do while waiting. Setting an appointment probably best. Minimum time in chair is an hour, I think. They certainly care for you. And the wash is after the cut! Always thought that made sense.

If you have some time on your hands and want to get pampered a little bit, this is the place to go. It’s set up in a converted home so there are little rooms everywhere creating a cozy environment. With every service you get a complimentary drink (alcohol or soda) and a cigar. You can spend some time outside on their patio overlooking Mesa street with a great view into downtown. My haircut was meticulously done with straight razor edging, a shampoo with hot face towel, and a shoulder massage to finish it up.

All I can say is wow. What a unique establishment this is. Came with my husband for a full bachelor worthy treatment. He walked out so relaxed and looks AMAZING. The staff was very attentive and treated us like a king/ queen. We enjoyed the classic barber shop style atmosphere it was like stepping into 1955 with a modern twist. 10/10 service and experience we will be returning.

Absolutely TOPNOTCH. JULIEN, a skilled craftsman at his trade, was exceptional executing my haircut, shave and culminating in a shampoo. I smell and feel great. The ambience is empectable, with antique barbershop fixtures set in the home of a world renowned architect of the late 19th and early 20th centuries. I love the “Gentleman’s Republic”.

I booked an appointment for my boyfriend to get his haircut here. Julien did an amazing job, paying extra attention to detail. My boyfriend has been raving about his experience since the moment we left. While I waited for him, I sat back with a book, and a complimentary drink and snack. The porch is beautiful, with great shade. My boyfriend has gone to the same barber since he was 17; he is now 24, and this is his first haircut with a new barber, and he claims it is the best haircut he has ever had. We will definitely be coming back. 10/10 recommend.
