Precious studio, wonderful service! Located in a historic district, step through the front door into a captivating and bright space filled with sunshine and colorful, local art. There’s a warm and peaceful vibe at BSide, somewhere you can just exhale, let go of any mental thunderstorms, and inhale a fresh start. The original fabric of the studio space is incredibly special and provides fantastic character- beautiful original wood floors, slightly sloped walls and mouldings, corners that aren’t perfectly square – it’s a space that beams authenticity and deeply grounded Raleigh roots. And they can take care of your roots too! Stephanie is the best. Ask for her talent and you shall receive! She absolutely transformed my wild mane and I couldn’t be happier! She tailors to your requests- more layers or more texture, smoother sides or steeper cuts, framing or thinning, coloring or cutting, you name it she can do it! Hair product selection makes you feel like you’re at a spa, you won’t want to leave the washing station! Service is always wonderful- enjoy a bubbly or coffee while you wait, but you won’t wait long! Always prompt and thorough, Stephanie is a great communicator and brings a lovely energy to this space. I always feel so refreshed leaving BSide, it blends deep history and modern service, highlights the talent of local artists, and is a great representation of why we love Raleigh oh so much!
