Today I went and got my eyebrows waxed. And serviced me today and did an amazing job! Not only did she wax them but to clean them up she threaded them. I had never had my eyebrows threaded before but to my surprise it wasn’t painful at all! I was so pleased with how attentive to detail Ana was. I look forward to coming back! DO NOT go here for a Brazilian Wax!!! I found this business through my Class Pass app and came to get a wax. When I walked in and saw it was more of a threading shop I was a little reluctant but gave it a try anyway. The woman who waxed me was great! She told me to use a different service than what I had booked. My wax lasted forever! I was out of town when it was time to get another wax so I tried a different place and hated the results. I could not wait to come back to Wax, Thread and Scissors! Unfortunately when I did, the experience was far from the first visit. I repeatedly told the lady performing the wax that this was not what I got originally. She tried to convince me that I had not been here before because “we don’t have that wax.” All the whole steadily ripping at my skin with wax strips, as I told her that I don’t like strips as a process. I stopped her from completing my service, and got up to find a little blood on the bed. NEVER has that happened to me. It felt like she was ripping my skin off. I’m not new to waxes and I know they aren’t pleasurable experiences but this was beyond!! As I closed out and paid for a service that left my bikini area on fire and uncomfortable, she magically found where I had been there before and wanted to stick to her guns that they don’t do that! I told her the same way you said I had never been here is the same way I’m telling you the other lady didn’t use strips. At any rate, stay clear y’all!!! It’s a NOPE, for me.
