Critical: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, ValueWould leave 0 stars if I could but that isn’t possible. Exactly one month from today (November 19th) I made the decision to try out VIP nail bar as I am new to the area from Texas and was looking for a regular place to get nail services done. We had an appointment and showed up on time, was greeted by a very unfriendly receptionist that informed us they were running behind and short staffed so therefore we would have to pay for our services BEFORE receiving them… We sat over in the pedicure chairs soaking our feet in the water for at least 30 minutes before our nail techs finally started on us. The entire service was rushed as if we had no appointment and showed up late when it was in fact them that was running behind and short handed. We chose to do shellac on top of the massage therapy pedicure so it would last (so we thought). We chose our colors and I kept getting told they didn’t have mine to chose another, over and over and then they finally found the color I had originally chose. Then we were asked to pay by the unfriendly receptionist and to use our cards we would be charged a few… well for starters $71.28 is the most I have EVER spent on a PEDICURE in my life for shellac and a “good quality” pedicure. That is absolutely ridiculous and I thought from that exact moment I would never be back. As soon as we paid (they weren’t done with our services) the techs around us turned off the music and TVs and began sweeping around us, rushing us out again like we were a bother and didn’t just spend over $140 for just 2 pedicures. Service was extremely poor. Quality was no better, within a week there was chips in my shellac paint that cost an additional $20 to be applied. Now a month later I remove my polish and it appears that I have some sort of fungus on each big toenail and I’ve never had this issue prior. Before cutting down my nails each big toenail was yellow in color. I will never return to this establishment and pay ridiculous amounts of money for a service that turns out to be like this.Service: PedicureWould leave 0 stars if I could but that isn’t possible. Critical: Quality, ValueHonestly the services provided here are a gamble. Today was my last visit for poor quality service. I have made a appointment every time. A few of those times I booked with a certain tech, and I may get them or Im handed off to someone else. I like my nails a certain length, simple one color @ a time, squared off in shape, I ask for my cuticles to be cleaned up, and I like acrylic gel. My cuticles never get done, the techs get annoyed when I ask them to trim more length off if it’s not the length I want, they don’t clean my nails up good when they are done, they are always rushing to get finished, and today after I told him twice I wanted gel, he told me powder dip will last longer and looks better, but my nails look absolutely horrible!!!! My nails look like I have been playing in playdough, they aren’t filled in all the way, the shapes and thickness of the nails are inconsistent being thick in some places and thin in others just sloppy sloppy work.A lot more focus on quality rather than quantity will go a very LONG way in future services! I hope the business as a whole will take the time to read all the comments and reviews that have been left, considering there are more negative than positive, and make adjustments to the services being provided for future and returning customers.One important thing that your nail techs need to remember: WE are paying for the services that WE want, Not what they want!!Services: Manicure, Dip powderHonestly the services provided here are a gamble. After leaving I noticed that none of them were even and that two were crooked from being filed to much. And to top it off I was told there would be an 11% fee for using a debit card I have never heard of an 11% fee at any business. I had high hopes for a better outcome, lesson learned I will never be back. They were not worth the $70 I paid for them.
