I Contacted them to make reservations for a bridal party for our bachelorette weekend and we showed up and they had bought us champagne and provided a complimentary snack bar for us. They were ABSOLUTELY phenomenal. Any time I visit the city, I want to go to this place!! HIGHLY recommend. They were fast and provided professional advice and service on our nails and toes. AMAZING. I normally have pretty good service here. I call to make an appointment and normally, it’s the same day. Which I understand some waiting time, especially when calling for same day appointments. This particular Saturday, two employees got into a shouting match. I understand people won’t always get along but take it to the back. I was moved from the front waiting chairs, into a chair to look at gel colors. I watched employees walking around, leaving, and finishing their client and going to the back. After sitting for over 30 minutes without another word being said to me, I left. I won’t be back and you can tell that won’t make a difference in your business. People are just numbers that add to money. $5 extra, is all I ever hear. However, I called Designer Nails, they had a cancellation and got me right in. Full set at their location for $38 and they’re perfect! I will never go back to Urbane nails again!

I’ve been coming here sporadically because it’s close to my house. But I’m going to stop coming after today. They have too many new unskilled people. I’ve had my nails messed up more times than done right at this point. The quality of the work is very poor and takes way too long. Today the guy drilled my acrylic set down to pretty much nothing. It was so thin it was basically my nail. While I was washing my hands it was already chipping. He tried more filing even after that. I finally had to tell him to just stop! The process took forever and was a complete waste of time and money, cause I’ll need to go have them redone.

This was my first visit. I arrived around 528pm on Monday Dec 21st, closing time is 7pm and I was afraid that my services would be rushed. I decided to stay after I was unadorned there wouldn’t be a wait. The pedicure began within 6 minutes. David who did my pedicure was courteous and thorough. I was happy with his work. The young man who did my nail fills was nice and fast. However, I was a disappointed in the finished product. The nails surfaces are not as smooth as they should be and the underneaths edges were rough and sharp. I ended up filing and smoothing them myself. The environment was pleasant, clean, and professional. I’ll see how I feel about a return visit.

Got my nails done sept 5th and i was pleased with service. The pedicure was amazing and the best part you are served wine (if you prefer). A very relaxing atmosphere to be at after a long week or month at work.

Look at the picture and you decide…the shape is worse than the service. Not sure if it was because he was in a rush but I waited 4 hours for this disappointment. I would rather drive out of state to get my nails done before I go back to urbane on nw expressway
