I went into Triangle Nails originally wanting to get my cuticles cut on my hands, and a basic manicure. I ended up getting regular polish as well. I had no- wait time, many colors to choose from, and a clean environment. There was a fresh package of nail tools used on my hands.

Made an appointment the day prior and was seated immediately with no wait. Price wouldn’t be bad if the services listed used good quality products and was worth it. Nail files used are very low quality which ripped my skin and when they put alcohol on later they burned so bad I thought I was bleeding. Paid for the VIP pedicure for $55 which included massage and paraffin wax. Massage was laughable; it wasn’t a massage. Just them rubbing a hot stone on my calves with no pressure and no foot massage. Did matte black polish and I honestly can say that I could have done a better job. I included pictures showing uneven coats and they didn’t paint my entire toes. Very unhappy with how they look. 2 VIP adult and 1 child was $150 without tip.

Critical: Punctuality, Quality, ValueIf i could give this place a zero star i would. My apt was at 2 and i sat there for an hour waiting to be helped. they did my nails in under 30 minutes and if you get your nails done you know it takes at least 40 mins for good nails. the lady proceeded to tell me she couldn’t do the length i wanted because my nail beds are too short. they are so short you can barley see them over my fingers. the girl who did my nails also cut all my cuticles and made my nails look like a hot mess. i called and told them i wanted a refund and told me they could take them off but a refund is up to the manager and they said the manager would call me when they are done with their client. i have been waiting for 30 minutes for a call. The place is so busy that it takes forever to get helped. i will never be going back here again.later that day after phone calls…i went back in and talked to the manager she said they do not do refunds and will fix my nails then proceeded to tell me i would have to pay 20 more dollars so 70 in total when if they were done right the first time would have only been 50. the management is absolutely terrible they do not care about the customers they are only here for the money. i made a scene so everyone knew how trash they are. there were several people there from when i was first there 3 hours ago still waiting to be finished. this is the worst nail place i have ever been too. i do not recommend coming here at all. avoid it. there are way better places in portage to go to. this place should go out of business. the lady who did my nails lisa. i don’t know the managers name who helped me the second time and wanted to charge me more money. this place is awfulIf i could give this place a zero star i would. Legit the best in the area! Never had 1 slightly not excellent experience here. Don’t listen to the few bad reviews. If your nails look like $h#t before, don’t expect a fkn miracle. They’re not your fairy godmother, and you’re definitely not Cinderella.

Clean, nice salon, and I LOVE my nails. Apple was my nail tech and she is so nice, and she paid so much attention to detail. I showed her an ispo picture that was a bit complex, so she consulted another tech for advice, and she absolutely delivered exactly what I wanted. I’m in love with my nails and they are were a very reasonable price. This was my first time at this salon, but I will definitely be back.

Nails are good, when the employees want to do a good job. If they are tired, steps will get skipped (lotion,massage, cuticle trim, etc..) Lots of color choices ( even though last time I came in I asked for rainbow nails, 5 different colors, excessive i know, but it was for easter and when i showed the employee the picture and asked if i could get those done he said ” no pick 1 color” I asked ” if there was a color limit and he said “yes” but the lady next to him just said ” it would just cost more” which I understood. The guy could have mentioned that.. ironically, I’ve had the most compliments on these nails vs. any other set. Good hours. Some consistency would be nice.

Then a gentleman did my acrylic nails for my wedding this weekend and did them perfectly! He filed better then I have ever seen and made my vision come to life. 100% recommend!! Won’t be back. Place is extremely expensive for horrible work. Tech was constantly on the phone, didn’t at all get my nails to the picture that I showed. This place has been referred to me by many in a local fb group. Decided to try them out. Horrible experience. My nails are so thick, look nothing like the pic I brought in for reference, even though I was assured it could be done. Regal nails inside of Walmart is better than this place. The sides of my nails are missing chunks of what’s supposed to be French tips. “I’ll make these look natural”. They’re not even close to looking natural. Glue on nails from Walmart look more natural than these. I highly recommend master nails on westnedge or regal nails in Walmart

So I made an appointment for Sunday at 2:45. I showed up at 2:35 & the receptionist was super nice & very friendly. I only had to wait a few minutes before being seated at a pedicure station. This is where it goes downhill…I was sat at 2:45 on the nose & my pedi didn’t start until 4:05. I couldn’t believe how long I had to wait. DO NOT GO ON A SUNDAY! They are crazy busy. My nail tech (totally forgot her name ) was super nice & very helpful. My nails do look lovely. Another downfall…the price online for a mani/pedi combo said like $60…mine was $85 & I’ve had my nails done for a whole 24 hours & a nail has already chipped. Second time going to triangle nails…not sure if I’ll go back. The employees were very nice & super apologetic about how long it took but idk…that was just bananas. I was there for like 3.5 hours.
