Today I had a great experience at the Upper Cut. I must admit at first I wasn’t sure whether to stay or not as I noticed I was the only male, but I was welcomed warmly by the receptionist who told me that they did cut men’s hair and I noticed later there were other male customers. The woman cutting my hair, Rita, has been at the Upper Cut for many years which I refreshing & comforting in these times of so much change. It also tells me that this business has been well established and is stable, and I’m very thankful that they have survived. As for my hair cut, well, I was extremely satisfied. And from what I could tell, so are their other customers also seem to be very satisfied as everyone except me seem to be repeat customers over many years, but don’t let that put you off from this place as they welcomed me like one of their own, no different from any other. Back to my experience, you can see with my other reviews, I don’t give out five stars easily, but the Upper Cut and Rita both deserve it! If you are visiting Holland for the first time or a long time resident I would recommend giving them a try, I know next time I’m in town I will be back
