As soon as I checked in, the two ladies at the front desk greeted me with a warm smile and offered me a drink. And Erik, who cut my hair, did an amazing job! He made sure to ask me what kind of cut I wanted and before even taking the scissors, he made sure he had an understanding of my hair texture. I also loved the products that he used when washing my hair. He was super friendly and was so precise when cutting my hair into a blunt bob. So thankful my friend recommended me to go to this salon. I had a great experience at Shampoo Ave B! As soon as I checked in, the two ladies at the front desk greeted me with a warm smile and offered me a drink. And Erik, who cut my hair, did an amazing job! He made sure to ask me what kind of cut I wanted and before even taking the scissors, he made sure he had an understanding of my hair texture. I also loved the products that he used when washing my hair. He was super friendly and was so precise when cutting my hair into a blunt bob. So thankful my friend recommended me to go to this salon. I got foilyage for a summer refresh and asked for brighter front pieces. The blended process seemed to be a great option to compliment my typical full-foil highlights. The first two photos are just 9 days after my appointment, and I feel the front and right half of my scalp didn’t receive highlights. The last photo was taken today – I normally have to wait 8-10 weeks for highlights, but 6 weeks later I’m having to get new highlights after spending $300 so recently.

Loved my experience here! Alex did a great job with my difficult hair (I have thick and curly hair) and she managed to get a full highlight foil & haircut done in 3 hours even with all my hair. Even better, she did a great job with the coloring and helped fix some hair damage I had from using sun spray (that other salons haven’t been able to fix). Everyone was really nice and the products smelled great. Definitely coming back next time!

For as long as I can remember I’ve wanted to try hair extensions. I bit the bullet a few months ago when I went to another hairstylist, but ended up with knots everywhere ! Savannah was not only able to fix the mess of what became my hair, but also transform it using the highest quality hand tied weft extensions. The install process was extremely quick, and they are so much more comfortable than I thought could be possible for extensions. Not only that, but Savannah is amazing at making sure that you and everything feels comfortable. These extensions gives me just the right amount of volume without weighing my scalp down, which I absolutely love! I also have naturally black hair and wanted to go ice blonde, so these extensions saved the integrity of my hair whilst giving me the look and color that I want. I seriously haven’t been this happy with my hair in so long and I can’t thank Savannah enough! I wish I did this years ago! Thank you Savannah!

I recently went to get fresh highlights from a different stylist (Angela) after my former stylist left and I’m very pleased with how they came out. There was some confusion/grey area with pricing, they overcharged me, but when I called to work it out they were kind and accommodating and gave me a credit and points toward a future visit which I really appreciated. Great business that’s run well and the quality of stylists is excellent.

Edgar is such an amazing hair stylist, he is passionate in what he does, creative & really listens to what you want when it comes to your hair. He is never afraid to be honest with you, especially when it comes to dying your hair, he always sets realistic expectations & does what’s best for the health of your hair, while also trying to satisfy your vision. I’ve been going to him for years now and he’s my all time favorite!!! Edgar is always filled with positivity, love & great conversation, I highly recommend him!! You will not be disappointed!!

I tested positive for COVID the same day as my appointment. Called the salon as I understand they have a strict cancellation policy and was told I would be charged for the full cost of the service (~$350) even though I obviously could not make my appointment. I am sympathetic to the stress the pandemic has put on local businesses and said I was fine with being charged and would come in to get my hair done when I am no longer putting the employees and customers of the salon at risk and the owner told me I would be charged again (another $350) at that time – absolutely no flexibility. Owner does not seem to care about the safety of his own employees or customers as their no exceptions cancellation policy clearly encourages people to come to their appointments if they are sick since the alternative is losing hundreds of dollars. I expressed my intention to protect my stylist from getting COVID 1 week before thanksgiving and the owners response was that they are exposed to COVID everyday… I will never come here again and suggest thinking twice before making an appointment

Great service! I’ve had a couple stylist and they’ve all done a wonderful job. Jacob in particular really has done a fantastic job and makes me look great and feel more confident about my hair when he’s done!
