Oncology Massage During and After Treatment Oncology Massage During and After Treatment Being treated for cancer does not mean you need to stop getting massages. Your massage therapist has a Specialized Certificate in Oncology Massage; a specialized training that provides the background needed to modify the massage for the side effects and long-term effects of cancer treatment. Modifications may include changing your position for the massage, extra pillows or bolsters, working around ports and other medical devices, and using less pressure, all depending on your health history. While working with cancer patients is our primary business, the massage therapy schedule is open for non-oncology clients as well.

Positive: Communication, Professionalism, QualityLucy is very intuitive and is an incredible Oncological Massage therapist. I have cancer. I won’t go into detail but if you have cancer you know what I am talking about. Lucy is gentle, reads the signals from your body and adjusts her therapy to meet your individual need. The atmosphere is relaxing and professional. She goes above expectations to meet my needs with pain and inflammation that comes with chemotherapy. Additionally, areas that are unsettled (gut, joints and muscles) are addressed through massage. I recommend her HIGHLY if you suffer from side-effects and neuropathy due to cancer treatment. She is worth every cent you spend on her services I have experienced excruciating pain and then gained relief from her therapeutic services.Lucy is very intuitive and is an incredible Oncological Massage therapist.
