I love how this place writes condescending responses to every person who writes a negative review. You were right when you said I am a very intelligent woman. After the extremely unpleasant experience I had today with your salon, I did some research on this business and how your business has been STEALING money from people with that ridiculous policy for YEARS. Also I have receipts and screenshots which will be very helpful for me reporting you to the better business bureau. I have a screenshot of when my Lyft dropped me off right in front of your salon at 3:08pm, not 3:17pm. There are also cameras that could confirm that. However, 3:17pm is around the time I finally walked out of your salon after your receptionist (who has been trained to be callous just like the owner) was not willing to return my $50 for a service I didn’t receive due to me being 3 MINUTES past the grace period, not 12. Also I have an email confirmation from 3:15pm confirming the new appointment time that the receptionist canceled with the other brow stylist that was scheduled for 3:30pm. If I didn’t get there until 3:17pm (when the receptionist had just booked my new appointment over the phone with the other brow stylist before I arrived) then why would that appointment have be cancelled at 3:15??? Wouldn’t I have mentioned that in my initial review? Not only are y’all thieves taking money for services you never performed but are also liars. Keep the money but I’ll make sure word gets around about how unethical, dishonest, and cruel your business is because no one should have to go through what I did today, especially not for their FIRST TIME booking. Never in my life have I been treated so unkindly and nasty from a business. You never know who is walking through your doors and who you’re leaving a bad impression with.

Got the Brow Styling and Dye done with a brow stylist (not Nick). Beautiful salon and excellent service. Giving 4 starts because I think that my brows were a little too thick for my face and shape and had to remove some of the dye afterwards. Will probably spend a little more money to get my brows done by Nick or just use the service without the dye. Otherwise, had an excellent experience.

It would be nice if more empathy was shown for new customers trying to learn how to navigate the area. Additionally, if possible, please consider not taking gratuity for services not rendered when an appointment is cancelled. It is already an unfortunate experience for new customers who genuinely did their best to get there. This is not feedback about Nick personally (as we did not have the opportunity to meet), just something to consider regarding customer service from one professional to another. I also don’t disagree with penalizing people who are inconsiderate enough to be repeatedly late. But, a little forgiveness or empathy for new customers (who are 6 min late) might be a consideration on their first appointment. I would have loved to have learned more about Nick and his services.

I found Nicck Townsend Salon on Instagram. Nicck didn’t do my brows but he did step in during my appointment and greeted me with a smile. Nicck and his staff were very professional. I stop getting my brows done years ago. I was always told “too thin” but honey my brows look amazing. I stepped out and took a chance and tried something different, it was the best decision for these brows. On the day of my appointment, Mya called and gave me a heads up about the detour. The phone call alone was helpful being as though this was my first appointment. The shop is refreshing, clean, and welcoming. Also, I can’t leave out how good the playlist was. I’ve received so many compliments on my new brows. I will never let anyone else touch my brows again. I’ll be back and I’m bringing some friends as well.

Nicck was amazing. Just had my “mother of the groom” makeup done (trial run). He said he wanted me to look like myself, but elevated. He absolutely succeeded. I LOVE it.
