I have always been one to pay for quality products as long as they work… Previously I was using Benefits facial cleanser and moisturizer but that has since been discontinued. After moving to Texas, all of a sudden my face started breaking out. I was lowkey panicking because I have NEVER had any issues with my skin other than keloids. When I went to the dermatologist, he diagnosed me with seborrheic dermatitis on my scalp that spread to my face and gave me a shopping basket full of prescriptions. They seemed to work temporarily but with less than favorable side effects. When I found out about Melanin Exotics I was desperate for something that actually worked for my skin and lucky for me, the detox bar was everything I needed and more. Not only did it help expel the toxins in my pores and get rid of white heads but my eczema flare ups went away as soon as I started using the detox bar and african beauty bar consistently.
