Had a great experience today. The building is so clean and neat and the staff as well as the dermatologist are super sweet! I had a mole removed painlessly and we did not have to wait long either. Absolutely coming back!

I went to this office once a little over two years ago for a minor issue. I was prescribed a face cream and it was great. A year later I went back because the issue would come back once whenever I stopped using the cream. At this visit I was told that the cream is very strong and not something I should have been using every day. She then told me to only use it a couple times a week. But the problem was still persistent. Fast forward to now, I went to another dermatologist and he was horrified that I had been using this cream on and off for two years. He said I am lucky that I am young as this cream could have caused some serious scarring and damage to my face. He prescribed me a less potent face cream that is suitable for everyday use and the problem has cleared up.

I have been a patient for several years. In all that time I have never once been late. However my appointment this morning I was running late because of heavy traffic on 75. I exited on Spring Creek only to find the street closed in both directions. I went to Parker to find it was narrowed down to due to construction. I had called the office to advise them I was running late and they said it was no problem they give a 15 minute window. Unfortunately due to the multiple traffic issues I arrived 17 minutes late. I was informed they would not see me although the receptionist told me they would make an “exception” and “allow” me to return at 1:00 p.m. I live 30 minutes away. I declined the rather rude offer. I don’t think this is right or fair. I called ahead and it’s not my fault streets are shut down due to construction. I made a good faith effort to arrive on time. I’m not coming back. It won’t matter of course but I think it’s a shame for an established patient to be treated this way. However caveat emptor. If they treated one patient this way don’t be surprised when they treat you the same way.

My wife had an appointment at this office and she was under the impression she had an appointment with Dr. McGuiness who apparently has a good review. But when she came to the office she found out that she should be seeing another provider Dr. Leisa Hodges, DO. Nonetheless, her diagnosis and treatment did not do any good. When followed up with her assistant she seemed to be in hurry and was kinda rude. Then we made an appointment with Dr. McGuiness. Just one day before the appointment the office called and cancelled the appointment telling that Dr. McGuiness went out of town and will let us know when he will be back. That was early Nov, 2022. As of today Dec 29, we never heard from that office. We have been waiting to see Dr. McGuiness and did not make any appointment with any other Dermatology office and found that they just wasted our time and money. That was very unprofessional and rude. If we had any option to give this office and the stuff 0 ranking we would have done so. We will stay away from this office.

If I could give them 0 stars I would. I made an appointment online over a week ago for today at 8am and they reached out to me via email for my insurance information to verify I could come into their office and to change my appointment to 9:35. I sent them all the information they needed 1 hour after they contacted me and didn’t hear from them until the Wednesday before my appointment to confirm and I hit cancel because they never got back to me about my insurance. After I had cancelled I get a phone call about cancelling my appointment and I explained what happened and they were apologetic about the situation and verified my insurance and said I could come in on Friday at 9:35. I showed up and they said they had cancelled my appointment at 7:32 that morning. Literally the worst office experience and I was never even seen. Worst staff

I would give a 0 star if I could. Beware of this place, Save your time and money, they false charge you. I went to see the doctor for my acne, she came in and gave me a tropical cream for 3 months the receptionist charged me the copay but they charged my insurance for an out patient procedure. Later I received a huge bill in my mail. I contacted them but they were rude and didn’t help in any way. They sent me mail if I do not pay they will send this to collections. Please make sure of what you pay for and ask precisely how much? and why it is needed? I have never seen these ridiculous acts by any doctor’s office.

Very Rude Front Staff. I came at the of at 3:40 pm for 4pm appointment. Everything was ok in the beginning. Then i asked that as per my insurance the copay should be $0 for first visit. They denied and said you will be charged $100. I said ok I’ll pay. Then i called my insurance company to talk. We kept on waiting in the doctor’s office lobby and patients coming after us went in before us. And after an hour of wait when i asked about the long wait the lady on the front rudely said i can’t discuss other patient’s schedule with you which i never asked. She kept on saying we are next but never called us in. After that behavior we decided to leave the office without our visit and left after informing them.

I have a really bad and painful skin condition and 2 weeks ago when scheduling my appointment here I was sure to ask all of my requirements to go for an appointment, the team at McGuiness confirmed I only needed my insurance card and ID . However today after requesting a day off work to be seen I was told that I need a referral in order to be seen. They apologized for the inconvenience and sent me back the door. Now I’m still in pain and they didn’t even try to fix the situation. Won’t be coming back.

I am not quite pleased with this office. We have waited several times for 30 minutes or longer at an early morning appointment. That is a long wait for about a 5 to 10 minute visit.The front desk staff are nice.
