First, the skin care specialists accost you on the street when you’re walking past the store. They hand you a sample and tell you to follow them into the store. Once inside, they applied their serum under one of my husband’s eyes and one of my eyes. They had us sit there while the serum dried and proceeded to express to each of us how the other looked so incredibly much better than we did when we walked in. This alone lost them a sale but, add to that the fact that they were asking our ages and asking me what my biggest problem area was and also that the serum was just one of those liquid tape type products that makes one’s skin (briefly) appear tighter while actually doing nothing beneficial to the skin…. there was no way we would purchase anything.
