Massage Therapist
Swedish Massage Traditional Swedish therapeutic massage using long sweeping strokes, kneading, and friction at varying depths for increased circulation, relief of muscle pain, and relaxation.
Manual Lymphatic Drainage MLD (Vodder technique) is a light touch massage that works specifically on the lymphatic vessels to drain excess fluid (edema). Can help speed post-surgical healing by reducing swelling. Good for CFS, Fibromyalgia, migraines, Lyme. Creates an overall analgesic effect in the body.
Craniosacral A gentle technique working to free restrictions and balance the flow of cerebrospinal fluid in the body so it can reorient to it’s fullest expression of health. Sessions are performed with the client fully clothed.
Cupping Silicone cups are placed in areas of tension or restriction, creating a vacuum of negative pressure. This brings increased blood flow to the area and can relieve pain. Static (still) and dynamic (moving) cupping methods are used.
Myofascial Facilitation A slow, oil-free massage technique that works to mobilize your body’s fascial network, freeing uncomfortable patterns from chronic pain, injury, or repetitive stress. Deep structures can be accessed without the pain associated with traditional deep tissue massage. Can be performed over clothing.
