I had scheduled an appointment on Mother’s Day. Although I figured it would be busy, I had a set time to be there. When I arrived on time for my appointment, they had taken too many walk ins and did not get started with me until 20 minutes after my scheduled appointment. The nail technician I had was going really fast, obviously stressed about the amount of people who were waiting to get their nails done. It seemed like the staff was arguing as well about multiple things in front of customers, one being the price on another customer’s slip that was wrong. Halfway through my appointment, the nail technician stated that I would need a new set the next time I come (which is standard). However, 4 days later and my thumb acrylic was ready to pop off and my pointer finger already broke off. I believe she did not want to take the time to give me a full set that day, due to the amount of people they had waiting and it would take longer. She should have informed me that I needed a new set now, as I had no idea & she is the professional. Also, mid appointment, she asked if it was okay that she leave to go wax another client’s eyebrows. I said it was fine. Under normal conditions, this would have been fine – however, it was an accumulation of a poor experience and poor quality nails that made this overall a 1 star experience for me. I left getting my nails done that day feeling anxiety ridden, irritated, and disappointed in the nail quality – which normally should be a relaxing experience.

I never write bad reviews but this was actually a joke. the salon was very busy so I was happy to wait an hour to start my services. I got a pedicure and a gel manicure. The pedicure took an entire hour, and the polish is extremely sloppy. 30 minutes into my manicure the tech still didn’t have all the old gel polish off of my nails. She was using a paper nail file to remove the polish and ultimately scratched the surface of my nails and seemed puzzled at how to buff them smooth. Another nail tech saw she was struggling and took about a minute away from her own client to help clean them up. They still were not evenly filed. The light kept turning off so my polish was not drying properly between coats and is bubbled up in areas as a result. It didn’t seem like she was coordinated enough to use the cuticle nippers and at one point I actually had to start doing it myself just to get the bigger obvious hangnails. she didn’t bother finishing the cuticles. 2.5 hours and $80 + tip later I was very disappointed. I felt uncomfortable making a scene at the register so I called as soon as I left. The manager was defensive and hesitant to offer me compensation, she said I should post a picture of them on their Facebook page? I don’t have FB so I’m posting this here. She finally offered me to come in this week and another tech would fix them for free. Looking around it seemed like the other nail techs were doing a really nice job so I will probably return to have them fixed.

Been here twice now and both times I get the older man Johnny. When you get a pedicure you assume they do a small foot massage? No, they don’t even do that. If you ask for regular polish you will be Hasseled the whole time to upgrade to gel or dip until you give in. No doesn’t mean no, it means keep pressuring to upsell. Nails aren’t even filed, they clip and paint them without filing – so what did I pay $70 for? Good question – I’m not sure myself. Not to mention the cheese grader is so rough until you finally say ouch praying you still have some skin left on your feet and believe me, I’m lucky it didn’t break the skin. Definitely go somewhere else.

I had a horrible experience, I came here for a pedicure and when the lady first started cutting my toes and such she paused to EAT something with the gloves on that she was touching my feet with. I was shocked so I didn’t say anything. She proceeded to paint my toes with the black gel polish and got it everywhere tried to file it away which hurt. My toes are uneven and clumpy with polish. They aren’t sterilizing their tools and changed the bag in the pedicure bowl for the next person while I was still sitting in the chair! before even wiping anything down. They need a major evaluation with the health department because I’m not sure how they’re still in compliance.

My experience here has been hit or miss. If I got a simple gel manicure it was fine but this past time I asked for a design on my ring finger. It was a basic stripe design and the nail tech, who was a man who looked to be in his 50s/60s, saw the design before we started and said it would be no problem to do. At one point he had gotten gel polish on my edge of my skin and rather than trying to get it off he just used the cuticle clipper to cut off the healthy skin he got polish on. I also want to note that he forgot to put the final matte layer on my ring finger and I noticed when I got to the parking lot. I went back into the salon to ask for the top layer to be added and there was no apology or acknowledgment of fault, in fact I apologized to HIM for inconveniencing him. I won’t go back to this location due to lack of consistency in doing a good job. I’ve been going here for about a year now & everytime I have someone different. Which is fine but this time I had a man who did my nails, he did a wonderful job on my nails but butchered my poor skin around them in the process. I love this place!! I usually call to try to get in within an hour and they always accommodate. I’ve seen a different nail tech each time I’m there and the pedicure is always consistently good! They have a great selection of colors and best part is they are close to my house. I’m really picky with shape and how my cuticles are done and I’ve never been disappointed.

When I first called I expected to have to wait a week to get an appointment. They told me I could come in right away! I have been to different nail salons all over. I even once paid $250 to have a full set of acrylics done when I was visiting Greece because several of mine had broken off! Even for those prices I had them nick my cuticles till they bled repeatedly and the nail art was not very good.
