Took my 2 little boys to get a haircut here for the first time! We had Adi and she was amazing. I have an 18 mo old that screamed the whole time and she was so patient and good to him and was still able to give us the haircut we wanted even though he was not cooperative! She was also amazing with my 4 year old. She makes sure you get the exact haircuts you want. They were blended perfectly! Highly recommend her and this place for sure!

They were so patient and the set-up there is ideal. I was a little nervous about how my toddler would stay still for his first haircut; but they have little cars for them to sit in and tv’s for them to watch their favorite shows. I’m so grateful for this business and our experience!

My 3 year old got his first haircut here, and it was such a fun experience for him. He played on the slide while we waited, because we were a few minutes early. When it was his turn, they let him pick his own truck to sit in, turned on paw patrol, and explained everything that would happen. He was nervous, but quickly realized he was safe, and honestly looked like he was falling asleep a few times.

We’ve gone to Cookie Cutters about five times, and we will no longer be going back. The first experience was amazing! We got our youngest son’s first haircut there, and also my daughter’s hair cut. Every time we have been back since in the last year, we have waited at least 15-30 minutes after our appointment time to be seen. The stylists move so quickly that we’ve had to go home and fix mistakes. We once had to shave my sons whole head because of how uneven a haircut was. I now took my daughter to get her haircut on the 23rd of December 2022 and we got home and it was so uneven I had to cut a fourth of her hair. We are unfortunately officially done coming here, I say unfortunately because the atmosphere is so fun and kid friendly.

Honestly, this location is very friendly. Everyone inside is SUPER friendly and listens to exactly what you want. I usually take my son here once a month. The people never fail to understand what I want. I live near Glendale in Salt Lake City, so having to drive all the way to South Jordan is definitely worth it. I refuse to give my son anything less, this is why I go to this location. 20/10 would recommend, keep in mind you have to do an appointment every time because they’re usually booked the whole day.

4.5 star experience for me. This was our first visit to Cookie cutters and it was really great! It was fairly easy to make an appointment, I didn’t try the app, but the website was having issues so I just called. It was my son’s first salon haircut and I was feeling pretty nervous about it. We were a little late, but they took us right back to choose a chair. It really is geared towards littler kids which I love. My son watched Mickey Mouse pleasantly while getting his hair cut. Rachel did a really great job. She trimmed off little by little checking in with me if it was good or if I wanted her to take more length off. I loved that! I felt like she really listened to what I wanted and she knew how to achieve it. It didn’t take long at all and I do feel like the price was worth it to help my son feel comfortable and distracted during his appointment.

Always a great experience here, I have taken my older two kids multiple times but today was my youngest boys first haircut! We did the first haircut package with Adi and she did a great job. The certificate is ADORABLE and we were in and out in 15 minutes which was great for my 1 year olds span of sitting still. Thank you Adi!

Took my little guy in for his first hair cut…Amy is the one who cut his hair. Amazing service and the first time experience was better then what I thought. He got to watch his favorite movie when she was cutting his hair. I’m pretty sure he enjoyed his self. We will be coming back!

I have a special needs son and its just getting more and more hard to cut his hair. this may one of the last times I take him publicly to cut his hair for a while because its starting to become so difficult for everyone. I just want to tell Adi thank you soooo much for handling my son like he was one of your own. it brings me to tears writing this because it just gets so hard….. hard to do the hard and hard to have him live it everyday…. you are so amazing and I hope you realize that to you it may just be a quick cut, but for us it helps my son fit into society a little better. thank you so much!
