My 3 year old is terrified of getting his haircut! Dreama did an incredible job of keeping him calm. He sat in Lighting McQueen and she asked him what he wanted to watch. He calmed down and left loving his experience! She gave him a balloon and lollipop and he was set. We will absolutely come here for haircuts from now on. It was simple but clean. Loved that they had a slide for the kids! Pricing was worth it just to deal with a whacky toddler!

Love this place! Everyone was super kind and helpful. They have a small play area while you wait. The haircut didn’t take long at all for our little boy. They gave us a little certificate with his hair since it was his first haircut! Highly recommend for a kid friendly experience.

I took both of my boys in at the same time. One is sensitive to touch and noises and the stylist did an amazing job cutting his hair! It was a relatively painless experience. I made appointments for both of my sons during the same time slot, they each got their hair cut by different stylists. I loved being able to set an appointment for them. Both boys left looking amazing! I highly recommend this place.

11/21- updating this review as the service has continually gone down since the first visit. We’ve brought our son back 3 additional times and this last time was just so poorly handled. We made an appointment for 11am Sunday. We show up before the appointment and walk in to see our stylist starting on a different child. I get it, people show up and you help them but this is now the 3rd time our stylist isn’t available for our appointment time. Then she rushed the haircut. She normally does such a great job but this time she actually cut my child. Idk what’s going on and we’re patient people but this is just unacceptable. It’s not like my child was moving or being difficult either. He loves coming here but after this last experience, I’m not quite sure I want to make the 20 minute drive for this.

First time here for my son. I normally go to another location nearby but my schedule did not match up with my crazy schedule at the time. It was $5 more than the other place I go to plus tip. So it’s around $10 additional than I normally spend. Great great staff! Very patient and friendly. Hair cut turned out a little uneven around.

My husband and I brought our 2 year old son for his 1st haircut back in Sept. 2020. We had a horrible experience with one of your hair stylist named Dreama (a chubby Caucasian lady who wore her hair up.) She seemed annoyed when we walked in for our appointment (which we were on time for btw.) When she was checking us in, she was rude and gave me a bad vibe right off the back (should’ve left right then and there now that I think about it.) When I was getting a picture of my son getting his haircut, she said to me very rudely “Make sure you don’t get me in the picture.” Just after that one bad experience with your hair stylist, we decided not to take my son back there. We started taking him to Kidz Kutz & More and had a much more friendly experience. I don’t recommend this place.

Decent experience but not blown away. Stylist was really nice but haircuts were below average to average. My sons hair was very long and had beautiful ringlet curls. We expected the curls to be saved with the Baby’s 1st Haircut package but they were not. The stylist used clippers and sheared them off then just scooped up some random hair from the floor for a baggie. Also, she kept asking if we liked the cut but it wasn’t blended very well and quite frankly looks unfinished. We got it to a decent place and stopped – I’ll let his hair grow back out and try again somewhere else. My daughter also had very long curly hair and I requested her hair be bundled and then cut so we could preserve her ringlets as the stylist was again not going to do anything more than scoop some hair off the ground. The stylist cut her hair straight across the back, did not wet it down and semi brushed it out leaving us with a blunt cut and jagged uneven edges because she has curly hair. We weren’t expecting amazing hair cuts (they are 5 and 3 so I know sitting still is a challenge) but I anticipated because this was a childrens salon the stylists would be adept at dealing with wiggles and able to provide a decent cut all the same.

I brought my three year old nonverbal Autistic son here for the first time to get his hair cut. At other salons he would cry and scream, but not at Cookie Cutters! He was so happy playing on the slide and the employees are super nice and understanding. He sat in a car chair while getting his hair cut and didn’t cry once! The stylist was so patient, kind and fast! I loved how she styled his hair and showed me how to do it at home. My son and I had a wonderful experience and will definitely be back! I’m happy to finally find a salon that is so kid friendly, even those with special needs. I won’t be going anywhere else in the future. I definitely recommend this place for kiddos. Thank you Cookie Cutters!!
