My daughter cried the whole time but the ladies were very patient and great with her, very gentle. Everyone was super nice. As soon as she looked in the mirror she got the biggest smile and was super happy. They took a picture and a locket of her hair and made a certificate. I would definitely recommend them. My 5 year old son had his very first professional haircut here and it went swimmingly! I easily booked our appointment on-line and we were seen at our scheduled time. My son was excited that he got to sit in a “police car”, and was thrilled to learn that they had both Netflix and Disney Plus from which to view his favorite shows. Ashley was wonderful, and walked him through the process every step of the way, showing him how the buzzers were gentle and wouldn’t hurt his skin (somehow he trusted her even though he didn’t trust Mommy and Daddy!) All in all it was a great experience, he looked adorable afterwards, and I quickly took advantage of the discount you get for pre-paying for the next 5 hair cuts. No way am I going back to the calamity that was cutting his hair in my kitchen! We will definitely be back for his next (at least 5!) cuts!!

This was the very best first hair cut experience for my 2 year old. Mrs. Paula made him so comfortable and gave him the best haircut for his age. I went from having a 2 year old to a 12 year old with how grown up he looks! But, we absolutely love it. Will definitely be back to see Mrs. Paula again, and very likely to recommend this place for little kids. I wish we had a location closer though. We drove from Oxford to Royal Oak, but it was absolutely WORTH IT!

Amazing! Took my 15 month old for his first haircut. He has super curly hair and it was turning into a mullet. I was so scared to cut his hair but I’m so glad we took him here! Debbie did an amazing job even while he was twisting and turning a bunch! He got to watch a show and she was so great with him! We also got a certificate with a photo and lock of his hair, which made it super sentimental and great memory for us together. All in all, great place and will be back!!

We went this morning for my son’s first haircut and it was awesome! I was recommended by a friend who takes her son and I was not disappointed! We purchased the First Haircut package and it was such a great deal. It came with a picture, a certificate, and keepsake of his hair. We had Miss Jessica; she was great with him and did an awesome cut. We will definitely be back!

I had a great experience at cookie cutters. I had to bring my 2 y.o and 4 month old along when I took by 4 y.o boy to get his hair cut. In other establishments I’d constantly be trying to keep my kids from doing something they aren’t supposed to and it’d be difficult because we’d have to wait a while. No wait necessary, the time I booked was the time We were served! my 2 year old was able to play in the little gym that was there. Our hairdresser, Jessica, was quick with the cut and we were in and out. My kids enjoyed going and it didn’t feel as cumbersome getting a haircut for them as it was with other places! The entire staff was also very nice!

I’d really love to give this location 4.5 stars, but I can’t so I rounded up. They were on time with our appointment and did a nice job on my son’s cut. It was definitely faster than other locations but they missed a few spots and could have went a little shorter. This may also be partly to blame on us as my husband took him in and usually doesn’t look too closely. We overall thought it was pretty good (and close to the zoo for after haircut fun!).
