Chemical Peels

Microneedling and PRP
Microneedling, is one of the latest innovations in aesthetic medicine. The treatment uses the tiny needles in the Eclipse Micro Pen to create controlled micro-injuries to the skin. These microinjuries stimulate collagen and elastin production. Microneedling with PRP is a very safe and effective treatment for people of all ages, with all skin types who wish to improve their skin quality. The depth of the MicroPen can be adjusted to meet the client’s individual needs and objectives. Due to its low-risk profile, Microneedling with PRP is a good option for people who are not good candidates for lasers, such as those with darker skin types. Mohs Surgery
With Mohs surgery, your surgeon removes the visible tumor with a small margin (called a “stage” or “layer”) and then examines this tissue under a microscope to map out the extent of the cancer. If the tumor remains, this process is repeated until the physician is ensured that all of the cancer is removed. This process of mapping out the “roots” of the cancer minimizes the risk of the cancer recurring, spares healthy tissue, and leaves as little scarring as possible.

PRP Injections
Platelets are the cells in the blood that help tissue to heal and grow new cells. Through our procedure, the platelet-rich plasma is injected into specific areas of the skin. The PRP then acts as a matrix that promotes your own collagen to grow and regenerate tissue. As a result, skin becomes naturally smoother and tighter.
PRP Treatments for Hair Growth
Platelet-rich plasma, or PRP, treatments can help facilitate hair growth, which can restore individuals’ confidence and give them a fresh outlook. Plasma is the clear, straw-colored component of blood, and platelet-rich plasma is high concentration of platelets in its own plasma. For PRP treatments, a small amount of blood is drawn from the patient, and the platelets are separated from other components of the blood via a centrifuge. The high concentration of biologic nutrient rich cells is then activated to release at least eight essential growth factors and signaling proteins.
Palomar Lux 1540 Fractional Laser Skin
Fractional laser skin resurfacing treats a number of skin conditions with minimal downtime. One of the premier fractional lasers is the Palomar Lux 1540, a non-ablative erbium laser that is part of the Palomar Icon Aesthetic System. The laser delivers light to the skin through an array of high-precision microbeams that penetrate deep into the dermis, leading to healthier new skin. The use of the Lux 1540 for fractional laser skin resurfacing is much less invasive compared to ablative laser procedures, resulting in a faster recovery time and minimal downtime. Patients also experience fewer side effects and complications than they may with non-fractionated lasers. The Palomar Lux 1540 can be used to treat a number of dermatologic and cosmetic skin conditions, including sun damage (wrinkles, fine lines, crow’s feet, aging skin), acne scars, surgical and traumatic scars, skin texture and tone issues, melasma, and stretch marks (striae).

Photofacial: Lumenis, Cynosure Icon, and Elite Mpx
Skin pigmentation can take the form of freckles, age spots, or larger patches of discolored skin. The most common form is hyperpigmentation, which is the excess production of the skin pigment melanin, appearing as localized patches, which are darker than the surrounding skin. The patches are typically non-raised, as the hyperpigmentation occurs beneath the top layer of skin. This can be caused by excess sun exposure, injury, post-inflammation/acne or hormonal changes. Laser and IPL treatment can help to reduce the appearance of many forms of pigmentation and improve the appearance of darker patches, freckles, age spots/lentigines, sun spots, some brown birthmarks, and marks left from scars.
