After $1500+ and two and 1/2 years, the laser hair removal was still ineffective on my light brown complected face. While dermatologist offices are often about twice the price (and hence super pricey!) I’d recommend saving until you can afford the real deal rather than throwing away time & money on American Laser. The technicians were nice enough, but not sufficiently specialized to deal with ethnic skin (read anything olive or darker).
