The office atmosphere was comfortable and calming. The receptionists were pleasant ad efficient. There was very little wait time. Jena, the PA, was very personable and professional. I needed a minor procedure but she made sure I was feeling no discomfort. She patiently explained what to expect, the timeline for results to be reported and possible treatments with alternatives to surgery if that was needed. She, also, knew I had some concerns over insurance and had Kathy(one of the receptionists) call my insurance company to discuss coverage. They didn’t have to do that but it was greatly appreciated. Overall a pleasant visit for a potentially serious condition. I will not hesitate to go back to Alta if needed.

0 stars. The most unprofessional doctor visit I have ever experienced. Upon leaving and exiting the wrong way, I heard the doctor making deragatory remarks about our appointment. The doctor was not too pleased that I asked questions and she was happy to share her thoughts with staff. I asked three questions by the way. Of which, she made clear to me she didn’t have the time. We were in the office with doc less than 15 minutes. I am still in disbelief about the utter lack of professionalism and quite frankly lack of medical advice. Nothing new was provided that I hadn’t already ascertained from Google.

The Doctors and PAs are amazing, but every time I have been to Alta Vista there has been a bad taste in my mouth after stopping at check out. The last time I was there a year ago and the most recent time this week; I’ve had such rude treatment from the check out desk, specifically from Bonnie. It is evident that she does not believe she in the business of customer service. It would behoove this office to give this young lady some lessons in common courtesy and kindness. It’s evident she lacks both of these desired traits.
