Check in at appointment was good. Hard to get refill over phone. On hold 10 min back and forth. Then had to come in. Got appointment very quickly (for next day). Receptionist is the best! On the way out, the lady inside the visitation exit at the computer was very helpful checking the right pharmacy. Top quality work overall.

I have been with Dr Kalansky for about 20 years. My first great experience was with my ear lobe. When he finished cutting and sewed it up, there was no ear lobe. So he took some skin from my stomach and made one. Now I do not remember which earlobe it was. They both look the same. He is passionate about meeting the challenges that come up every day with mohs surgeries. He truly cares about his clients.

Unfortunately I was disappointed with my first time ( annual full body check up) visit. I picked this practice because Dr. Kolansky has very good 1k reviews and myself working in the medical field for 20 years I take my time and research when it comes to pick a specialist. I felt rushed, he sees a lot of patients in and out. Didn’t go over my whole body, was busy talking about something else ( which I don’t mind) Took a biopsy on my upper arm, and I saw the date on the lab report was the next day which is kind of weird. Usually biopsy takes minimum 4-5 days. No one called with the results, I had to call myself 10 days later thinking it’s still pending. For some reason I had this feeling I need to go for a second opinion ( since skin cancer runs in my family) . The second visit at the different facility was very thorough ,from top to bottom, between my toes and even my the bottom of my feet. She found 3 spots that she scraped for biopsy, the results came abnormal ( precancerous) . I am sure Dr.Kolansky is a great dermatologist, but maybe not for an annual body check in my opinion.
