Ada West Dermatology is an independent full service outpatient dermatology group that is committed to providing comprehensive and complete dermatologic care to patients in Boise, Meridian, Eagle, Nampa, Caldwell, and beyond the Treasure Valley. Our two clinics are staffed by 8 board-certified physicians and 9 certified physician extenders who are very experienced in treating all of your skin problems with the best available medical and surgical modalities including Mohs micrographic surgery and dermatopathology lab services. We also specialize in providing high-quality cosmetic skin treatments.

Scheduling was a little tricky at first, and it took us a few months before I could get my son seen, but our appointment was fantastic! Dr. Swanson was great and very knowledgeable and understanding of my son’s eczema. I really, really appreciate that she was okay with me saying that I would like to talk with my husband about the options we were given for my son’s treatment and let her know our decision later. I never felt like I was pushed to make a decision in that moment, which I greatly appreciate! Looking forward to working with her and her team!

The front desk staff was friendly, professional and helpful. Dr. Thorpe was incredibly attentive and took the time to ease my anxiety about the procedures and explain in detail, cost and what to expect with aftercare. Jessica, his assistant, is clearly an expert when it comes to numbing! She was very thorough and helped distract me during the procedure. Dr. Thorpe was even able to perform my procedure the same day! He also called to check on me afterward, which I have never experienced before. I highly recommend Ada West Dermatology and Dr. Thorpe. Was scheduled for 11:30 but had a bit of a wait as the office was very busy. Finally made it to an exam room at 11:50 and my PA Jason came in about 10 minutes later. This was my first experience with him and I thought he was personable and very attentive asking very pointed questions about my background and the reason for my visit. He was very thorough with his exam and treated a few areas of concern. Overall I had a very positive experience.
