We were in town dropping off our older daughter at college. Our 16 year old wanted to get a good hair cut before we returned home, so she looked up reviews at Accolades and we booked online. We got an appointment with Kelly. She was amazing! She talked to my daughter the whole time, listened to exactly what she wanted (she has thin wispy hair), and taught her how to style her hair herself. We were super impressed with the rest of the staff as well. Thanks for such a warm and high-quality experience.

Had an excellent blow out and style from Lamy. It was honestly one of the most relaxing blow dry experiences and she added flat iron curls that stayed ALL day and night. Came in with stressed out hair, from out of state, and with literally my hair breaking and falling out…I was anxious to say the least about how things would turn out! Kelly was amazing, kind/calm/professional…listened to me and gave great advice on how to cut my hair to maximize what was left while still being flattering. Great head massage with wash..environment of the salon was professional/stylish without being too intimidating. Highly recommend.

Nice place! I see a hairdresser named Shelly here, and she gives me haircuts that are better than pretty much anywhere else I’ve gone to before. I’m always happy with how she does it. All the staff here are friendly and talented.

Don’t do it. Unfortunately as other reviews have mentioned, they cannot do curly/wavy hair. I went in to get a blowout while on vacation. The initial blowout was poofy, so when the stylist asked if she should use a curling wand, I said yes, in hopes that it might fix the look. The hair looked ok, and I thought that maybe I could just do some small fixes at home. I didn’t want to be rude, and the person doing my hair was new to the profession. I left a great tip, and walked out the door, only to notice in the light just how frizzy my hair ended up being. I started crying while waiting for my husband to pick me up, and when he arrived, I asked if he could bring out one of the ladies that I had been speaking to inside, and he did… nervously. The woman came out, and I let her know that unfortunately this was one of the worst blowouts I had ever received in my life, and asked if she could help train the girl in the future on blowing out thick wavy hair. However, I quickly realized that there would be a problem when she didn’t even see an issue with the blow out I had received, and was annoyed that I had asked for her to come outside. I tried to do the right thing, hoping a more senior stylist would show some compassion and see that I was trying to not upset the person who had done my hair, but I was left with the impression that I was just some sap that they conned. It seems that they were not busy and on Groupon for a reason. I wouldn’t recommend coming here for a blowout, or even to work here.

Got a Groupon for an organic mani/pedi set as a treat for myself, wanting relaxation more than perfect nails, and I’m happy with my experience overall. The spa was nice, staff seemed friendly enough, and I did leave more relaxed than when I came. That said, my nail tech didn’t seem to have a lot of experience doing nails. She asked if my nails were smooth enough after filing. I pointed out 6 that were jagged, and she kind of bounced the file on top of my nails to smooth the edges, which in turn filed the top of my nails making them less smooth. The paint job is less than perfect (i.e., paint bubbles and smudges), which again, doesn’t bother me much considering my reason for booking the service. But, I’d recommend specifying that you want an experienced nail tech if you are looking for a beautiful paint job.
